Problems while hard wired in, be advised!Reviewed in the United States on July 12, 2020
I'm refunding mine before the 30 days run out. I loved this camera at first until I started noticing problems which I will get to later in this review. Mine was hard-wired into my 2019 Honda Civic using Vantrue's kit and Vantrue's 256GB Micro SD card. The good-3 way dash camera, rare to find right now.-Amazing camera quality all-around.-Easy overall setup.-Simple and clean GUI.-Interior camera has night vision.-USB C baby. The bad-Micro SD card is DIFFICULT to put in and pull out. You better have some long nails or a tool.-Suction cup isn't perfect. Mine fell twice in the first week before getting lucky and not having it fall any time after that. Just imagine going to your car to find the camera hanging there.-No built in WiFi, so no phone app.-No built in GPS.-Microphone sucks, sounds muffled compared to the Vantrue N2. Check Youtube.-Why I refunded mine.-Constantly needing to restart the dash cam to activate all the cameras. Sometimes one or two wouldn't be detected while the others would be. I'd either restart it or unplug the back camera to get it all working TOGETHER.-One time everything would be on and recording fine. I park and come back to my car an hour later. All cameras are on the picture is frozen. I see my front seats like I'm not in the car. The timer is going but nothing is happening.-One time all cameras were recording but the cabin camera came back as unplayable files while the others were fine.No it's not user error, no it's not any settings. It's either buggy software with good hardware or vice versa. I'm not sticking around to decide or trouble shoot a $350 camera. (dash cam, memory card, hardwire kit, tax)There's many other options on the market. Have a good day.
