A very well made and simple to use dashcamReviewed in the United States

I purchased this 3-camera dashcam from Vantrue (from their website), along with a hardwire kit. The packaging is pretty nice and the product quality is good. The camera is easy to set up with easy access buttons. I'm using my 256GB Samsung EVO pro micro SD card in it and found no issues using it. The hardwire kit was not functioning properly and the customer service representative was prompt to ship me a replacement unit. So, overall good experience so far, and highly recommend this dashcam who are looking for a 3-camera setup in their car.

Good camera but can't mount to rear view with the rear cameraReviewed in the United States

I tried to wire the rear camera with a Dongel and a C splitter but it didn't work. The terrible suction cup mount has copper connectors that power it. Too bad, I did a good job, lol. The camera is fantastic but the mount is awful. Not a full day has it stayed in this Louisiana heat. I am going to find a way to modify the suction cup holder to a permanent mount, but I am not even sure it is possible. In this day and age, I can't understand why they can't make a rear view mount that would allow the third camera. It would have been worth even more money if they made the rear camera work with a rear view mirror mount.

I bought a T3 in February of 2021, 18 month warranty. After a little over a year I had to turn it on whenever I wanted it to record. Then it died completely, nothing worked.I've found 3 methods of contact on the Vantrue site, have tried all of them several times and can only guess as soon as they see quit working, warranty, the message is deleted.It was a good camera while it lasted, but when it doesn't outlast the warranty and the company ignores it's not a good company. Buy from them at your own risk, and hope like heck you don't need them for anything but to take your money. My experience is they won't be there.

Product impression: It does not look cheap. It’s well built and the outside feels like rubberized. I left it in a car through very hot summer and still no issue.

Very good resolution: See the photos. Both interior and exterior resolutions are good. Interior of my car is black leather and the person is wearing dark blue jacket but the camera still shows a good image. I redacted the face but details are pretty good. Vehicle license plate numbers can be read on 1080P (outside)/1080P(inside). The menu also offers a higher resolution but then it does not offer dual camera views.

Easy setup: Good suction cup/holder is very steady and not shaky. Well built, plug and play as the factory setting is already good for most users. Menu and buttons are simple and easy to understand. Good user interface.

Excellent/responsive customer: Customer support by email is very responsive and genuinely interested in resolving a customer’s concerns and issues. It generally takes 1 or 2 days to response but they do get back to you. They also don’t hesitate to offer exchange a defective dash cam under warranty after trouble shootings.

Optional GPS: Quick fix GPS antenna and enables speed of a vehicle stamps on video files.

Suggestion: Use good quality micro SD cards made for frequent write/delete like SanDisk High Endurance Video Monitoring. Check once in a while to make sure the files are not corrupted. Reformat every 1 or 2 weeks. Keep one extra SD card as backup. Throw away and get a new one if SD cards keep corrupted or turns on/off the dash cam. Also, always use OEM cable and charger. Connect USB directly to the dash cam rather than through the holder or GPS antenna if you are having any power issue. Update firmware only if necessary so that you know if the dash cam experiences some issues you can spot the issue.
