N4 Rear Cam Cable Correct Connection

  1. Rear cable must plug into the rear USB port on the front unit.
  2. 3.5mm jack connection on the rear cable must connect properly.

 Note: Please contact us at support@vantrue.net if your rear cam still does not work after confirming cable connection with resolution settings are all correct. 

 Please meanwhile send us clear pictures which show all the cable connections and order number(ID) for your dash cam. Then we will provide you a solution soon.

Very easy to install. Way better quality than I expected. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. Picture quality is great. The instructions are not great. At least if you speak English. That’s the only thing I would improve. Great purchase though

Beware!!! Not 360 degree protection in parking mode!!Reviewed in the United States
Product brags about 360 degree protection and also 24/7 monitoring. Lets be clear though you do not have 360 monitoring when in parking mode (not driving). Only the front camera will detect motion and cause the recording to begin. So basically only if the criminal goes to the one part of the car where you really cant steal anything from (no doors, windows, or trunk where you keep your valueables) the cameras will activate. My opinion on this is they made a beautiful product and then cheaped out on the other two cameras and basically ruined it. I will be returning mine and continue searching for a REAL 3 channel, 24/7, 360 degree protection product. Also i feel they should state that it only senses from the front in biiiiiig bold letters just like they put all the other features. Seems sneaky the way thats just meshed in with the smaller details.

Just arrived and just unboxed. Out of the package I will say this. The features seem good. Good engineering as far as feature placement and function. The plastic seems cheap. I will update this after I use it.

Have been looking for a dash cam that covers the front, cabin and rear and found that the Vantrue N4 super capacitor dash cam fills my needs. The cylindrical shaped housing combines a 1440p front facing camera and an interior camera with a 1080p and 165 degree FOV. The 1080P rear camera, which can be rotated for positioning, has a 165-degree FOV and is attached by a 20-foot cable that uses a USB-C connection.Installation of a three-camera system was a breeze as I used the OBD II connection. The Vanture N4 includes a 24-hour parking monitor mode.I am also greatly impressed with the support I received from Vantrue every time I have a question or technical issue.Should You Buy It?Overall, I recommend the Vantrue N4 system. It’s a great choice for any driver especially for ride share drivers.
