N4 Rear Cam Cable Correct Connection

  1. Rear cable must plug into the rear USB port on the front unit.
  2. 3.5mm jack connection on the rear cable must connect properly.

 Note: Please contact us at support@vantrue.net if your rear cam still does not work after confirming cable connection with resolution settings are all correct. 

 Please meanwhile send us clear pictures which show all the cable connections and order number(ID) for your dash cam. Then we will provide you a solution soon.

Overall amazing! The clarity, the features, everything...only downside is you need to upload the recordings off the SD card in order to view them, there is no syncing from the phone to do a real time look back. Other than that, it's a great dash cam.

Vantrue N4 3 Channel 4K Dash Cam, 4K+1080P Front and Rear, 4K+1080P Front and Inside, 1440P+1080P+1080P Three Way Triple Car Camera, IR Night Vision, 24 Hour Parking Mode, Capacitor, Support 256GB Max, has a great picture. But I was ready to send it back because the wires can't be hid. The rear camera wire plugs into the side of the camera. The charger is plugged into the top of the suction cup mount, so the camera has to be lowered so the straight plug clears the headliner. But I worked around that, then two days later, in 77* weather, I find the camera hanging by the wires. So I clean off both the suction cup and glass and place the camera. Need to use more, so it could be more or less stars.

3 cameras, great for uber taxi ect, records inside of the car.. I did not use it for that. The display always shows pip sometimes you don't want to see images as its distracting. It is a good Chinese product software simple to use. SUCTION cup is JUNK. I have the mount where it has the GPS function it work but constantly looses its grip on the windshield in hot weather it does not hold long. The wire position on the power mounts are design poorly instead of being together or on the same side One wire is at the top and one at the bottom does not make an installation look neat. For the price its over priced should not be more than 150.00 won't buy again

This is an a amazing upgrade from the n2. Adding the rear camera is a game changer. The rear camera also is crystal clear even through the tint. Also the bigger lcd screen is nice as well. Vantrue hit it out of the park with this one.
