Mediocrity.Reviewed in the United States on February 27, 2021
The video quality is good. The user interface and features are fine (but could use a little tweaking). The camera, along with their hardwiring kit, were not hard to install or use. Unfortunately, there have been some issues. The first one I ordered started getting white lines across the screen and then reboot looping. It was returned. The second one, subsequent to the expiration of the return window, sometimes has a black screen when powered on which renders it non-functional until it's restarted. Luckily, it doesn't happen very often (yet). But now on to the biggest issue. The suction cup for this camera is garbage. It's far inferior to that of my GPS or phone holder. Observe the disparity in surface contact between my phone holder and the N4 in the included images. It simply doesn't make/keep a good seal, and has fallen off of the windshield more than once. In the second image, which depicts the N4 alone, I had just put it back on the windshield after falling and the seal is already going bad.I have to wrap the camera's power cords around my rearview mirror so the mirror catches the camera when it falls. And it WILL fall. I've come out to my car multiple times to find the camera hanging from the mirror. I'm not a fan of suction cup mounts for dash cams for this reason. They're a hassle and obstruct windshield reflectors. This camera also desperately needs a polarized front lens cover, as sun glare and windshield reflection is a not insignificant issue.I have to say I expected MUCH BETTER at this price point. I was willing to spend more for better quality, but have had mixed results with the N4. It's usually good and reliable, but has intermittent issues.
